Some WATAC members belong to groups which act independently of one another, with individual groups deciding how often they will meet, the format and the topic of the meeting. Meeting frequency and time depends on the needs of the group. Some groups meet monthly others three or four times a year; some gather of an evening, others on a Saturday or Sunday.
Each group has a coordinator and seeks to be an open and inclusive community that lives the vision and aims of WATAC. Groups are locally organized and are initiated and coordinated by any energetic and committed WATAC member and meet in the homes of WATAC women. A typical meeting would usually include some discussion drawn from a relevant reading, viewing of a DVD, a film or TV programme, prayer and reflection and time to chat over a cup of tea. Any member is welcome to attend any meeting of any group at any time.
